Review of Curt Gooseneck - EZr Double Lock Below the Bed - C60682- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the CURT EZr double lock under-bed gooseneck hitch, but the big advantage to having an under-bed gooseneck is that you can have full access to your bed so you don't have to sacrifice any space inside. You can still use your gooseneck and then whenever you're not using it, flip the ball over, put the little cap that comes with it in its place and have full access.We'll also have our safety chain loops that will retract right into that lower part of the corrugation on our truck so we really get the most out of that truck bed space. That's pretty typical. A lot of under-bed goosenecks have that same feature, but the thing that's unique about the CURT double lock is, as the name suggests, it has two pins that hold that hitch ball in place. So if I pull this out and turn it, it'll lock, which is a little tricky since I just have it on my table here.You pull this hitch pin out, turn it, and then you can grab the hitch ball and flip it over. You see there's those two holes there, that's because we'll have a double pin to come in and hold that in place.Customers really like the CURT double lock, have had years of good use and you can see we don't really have too much replay inside there. more

Today we'll be taking a look at the Curt Easy Double Lock Under Bed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch with installation kit. The biggest advantage to having this gooseneck hitch installed in your vehicle is that you'll be able to obviously tow your gooseneck trailer, but this is also going to be a hidden system so everything is pretty much mounted underneath our truck bed with the exception of the ball and the safety chain loops that come up on top of the bed.But whenever we're not using this, we can flip this over to the stored position. You'll have a handle located on the driver's side. Pull that out, turn it clockwise, it'll lock into position, and then you can grab that ball, flip it over. It has a little groove there, you'll want to line that back up and then you can drop that down into place. Now you have full access to your truck bed so you can haul anything as you normally would. more

Speaker 1: Today you're gonna be taking a look at the Draw-Tite Remove-A-Ball line of Gooseneck trailer hitches. Our Gooseneck trailer is gonna allow us to tow a Gooseneck trailer, so we can safely and securely get down the road. It is gonna be an above the bed design, so a hitch head is gonna sit on top of the bed, but it is gonna have a nice low profile. The ball itself is gonna be a two and 5/16th inch ball, and it is gonna be heat treated and zinc coated, so we know it's gonna last a long time. And whenever we're not towing, we can simply come to the lever, we'll flip it up and then we'll pull it away from the ball, then we can pull it out and we'll have full bed access, so we don't have to worry about the ball interfering. To keep all the dirt, debris and grime out of the hole, we have this magnetic cover that'll cover it up and it'll stick right to the hitch head.Now, the ball itself is gonna have a round sleeve design, so whenever we put it in place, it'll have this spring loaded locking pin, just push it in, hold the lever down so it won't snag on anything. more

So if I just open this up, pull the ball out, you can see the two holes where the two pins will go in and lock it into place. They do use zinc plating on the locking mechanism to provide superior corrosion resistance.If you notice the ball, it's a chrome plated hitch ball, it easily removes when you're not towing for complete access to your truck bed. more

Curt Ball and Safety Chain Loop Kit Review C60692- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the Curt Ball and Safety Chain Loop Kit for factory Chevy and GM underbed gooseneck trailer hitches, Part Number C60692. Here's what our ball mount and safety chain loops look like fully installed. Now this kit is for the factory prep package for GM and Chevrolet, for a gooseneck or fifth wheel trailer. And this is going to allow us to safely tow a gooseneck trailer down the road. Now the really nice thing about our kit here is that since it is made specifically for the OEM prep package, this kit's going to install in less than five minutes. And then whenever you're done towing, and you need to have your bed open so you can haul anything you may need, it'll uninstall and you can stow it away in less than five minutes as well. Each component of the kit is going to use a different type of latching system. For instance, our ball here is going to have a lever on top, and if we rotate that, lift it up and rotate that lever, it's going to loosen and take the tension off of our ball bearings here, which is what's going to secure the ball to the mounting point in our bed. And again to install it, we just lift up on that tab, and we can turn the lever, which will allow the ball to fall back down, and then we can lock it into place. The ball does feature a nice chrome plating and a steel construction, and it is a 2-5/16" ball. more

To do that, you just pull out on this handle, rotate it so it shows in the open position, pull the ball right out, flip it over. There is a little handle at the bottom, hold on to that. more
